WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

All funds raised by the Bindaring Sale support the work of Australian Red Cross.

To date, the Sale has raised in excess of $2 million. We are the biggest one day event fundraiser for Australian Red Cross. Clothes left over at the end of the Sale are sold through Red Cross Shops across the State earning substantial additional funds not included in this total, for Red Cross services.

The funds raised by the Bindaring unit will go to support all of the work funded by Red Cross in WA.

Choice of Allocation – $10,000

In 2018 Bindaring made a Choice of Allocation, giving $10,000 to the Nan’s House Project.

Bindaring members have always been committed to supporting local communities in WA and are delighted that a portion of funds raised from our 2018 sale have gone directly to a project in Kwinana supporting women and children. The Nan’s House project is organised by a local group of Grandmothers who have rented a home in Kwinana to provide a meeting place for people to gather in a cultural context. One of the aims is to offer a safe healing space for intergenerational healing. This is a community led initiative and we are very pleased to be able to provide some financial support.
